Operated by Paratransit Services, a private, non-profit transportation and brokerage provider is currently recruiting for a mechanic position at our Calaveras County transit operations. This position is for a Journeyman level transit bus mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with small and medium bus fleet. Majority of the work is centered on preventive maintenance checks and services. Must be able to acquire and manage a small parts inventory and will be required to input data of vehicle inspections, services, and repair orders into an online fleet database software program. Provide monthly reports to General Manager. Required: Must have a clean driving record, background check, a class A or B CDL with Passenger endorsement is preferred Position is a subject to a pre-employment drug screen and random drug and alcohol testing.
